These images allow our dentist and team to more closely examine your teeth and supporting structures, including areas that are not easily visible without the aid of the camera. Intraoral cameras are small and easily maneuverable, making them a very comfortable and effective imaging method.
Not only do intraoral cameras help our dentist and team to understand your oral health and provide effective treatment, they also allow you to better understand what is happening in your mouth. The captured images are projected onto a nearby screen almost instantly, allowing you to see exactly what we see.
Intraoral cameras are commonly used to:

- Identify tooth damage (such as cracked or chipped teeth)
- Follow up after a treatment has been completed
Captured images can also be sent to insurance companies and to other dentists and dental specialists as needed.
