Additionally, Silva Dentistry does not use any city water in our office. Instead, we use a top-of-the-line purified water system when providing all treatments so that you can be certain your treatment is as hygienic and safe as possible.
We follow the extensive infection control and sterilization recommendations outlined by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). These safety and infection control measures include:
- Eye protection for both our patients and our team
- Disinfectant hand soap
- Gloves and face masks
- Chemical disinfection of countertops and surfaces
- Sterilization of all equipment before use
Whenever possible, we use disposable materials and tools to eliminate the risk of cross-contamination through reuse.
